The Design Process

Once we have completed the consultation process we commence the designing of your new garden area.

A survey will be carried out either by our team or a registered Land surveyor. Creating a CAD survey document in paper and digital copy ensures the highlighting of any issues the site offers and any limiting factors within the site for any intended plans. We are able to work directly from this survey to ensure dimensions are accurate and scales for construction are readable.

From this survey we design your garden and produce a CAD Masterplan drawing. This will be provided in paper and pdf format for your reference and may be supported with hand drawn sketches, CAD produced elevations, construction details and planting plans if you have requested these and they are costed into the brief. Further copies will be charged at the market rate.

On presenting this design to you there may be alterations required from your response or any works that may have been carried out since date of survey. We reasonably offer that we include one session of changes free of charge. Any more fundamental changes to the design or revisions to any drawings are charged at an hourly rate.

These drawings should enable you to then continue to interviewing landscaping firms and gaining quotations for the works.
